製造界線

都市人很忙，整天忙著告訴別人自己在忙什麼：上菜時，拍照；吃飯時，check‭-‬in，再不是就是check‭ ‬email‭/‬SMS…總是要在網絡上現身，害怕與別人失去聯絡，說穿了，其實害怕世界失去自己也能如常運作。

我的手提電話有3G功能，支援無限上網，但我沒有選用無限上網計劃。如果在街要上網的話，只靠wi‭-‬fi。整件事看起來好像很反智，但我這個選擇是有原因。

除了因為要省錢之外，我認為互聯網的出現如同電燈泡，延長了人的活動時間，減少了休息的空間。在手機未能流動上網之前，我們頂多只能聽歌看書聽收音機，或者傾偈發呆看風景來打發時間。但自從手機可以上網，甚至無限上網時，每分每秒都充滿娛樂，可以看facebook睇片睇書，一機在手，娛樂無窮；但同時工作也變得永無止境。老細深夜傳來一個email，便要明早9時交報告，因為互聯網已壓縮了時間，再沒有時空的限制。

我刻意不選用手機無限上網計劃，是要刻意製造界線，劃出休息的空間，起碼我在離開家中和公司的電腦後，可以有片刻的安靜的時候，同時訓練自己不要死衝，因為真正要忙要衝的工作，可能只有為20‭%‬，其餘80‭%‬都是可以慢慢來。有了不流動上網的緩衝區，讓我分清緩急輕重，不讓互聯網的方便主宰我的生活作息。
